The UniFi Pro Max 48 is intended for a rack-based network that needs a substantial number of wired access connections and separate high-speed uplinks. Its listed copper ports support 1GbE and 2.5GbE links, letting a network planner connect devices with different port capabilities within one switching area. This is the non-PoE listing, so powered endpoints need a separate power plan.
