The Seagate IronWolf Pro ST20000NT001 is a 20TB NAS hard drive for storage that never sleeps. It spins at 7200 RPM, has a 256MB cache, and uses CMR recording. A helium-sealed case helps hold power draw down.
Seagate rates it for 550TB of workload a year, with a 2.5 million hour MTBF. Rotational vibration sensors help it hold speed when many drives share one enclosure. Peak sustained speed is 285 MB/s.
