Frequently Asked Questions

What's the advantage of SAS over SATA for this drive?

SAS interfaces generally offer higher throughput and better support for enterprise multi-drive array configurations than SATA.

Is this drive rated for continuous operation?

Yes, it's built as an enterprise-class drive intended for 24/7 duty-cycle environments.

For data centers that can't afford drive reliability to be an afterthought, the Exos X16 combines enterprise-grade duty-cycle durability with the SAS throughput serious storage arrays are built around.
