The Savvio 10K.5 is a compact mechanical drive for a system with a supported SAS storage path. Its 900GB capacity, 10,000RPM spindle speed, and listed cache make it a specific replacement candidate for an established server or enclosure configuration. Do not select it merely because it fits a 2.5-inch bay; the controller and backplane must support SAS, and the correct carrier may be needed.
