The Samsung 9100 PRO offers 4TB of internal solid state storage in an M.2 2280 module for a system built to accept a PCIe NVMe drive. Its listed PCIe 5.0 interface makes motherboard support and available cooling important parts of the upgrade plan, especially in a compact slot area. Verify the host's M.2 connection rather than choosing by physical shape alone; an M.2 SATA slot is not the same storage interface.
Add substantial application and working-file capacity to a compatible desktop or other system with an appropriate M.2 NVMe slot.
