The PM9D3a is a high-capacity solid state drive for a system designed around a U.2 NVMe storage path. Its 7.68TB capacity can help consolidate substantial working data into one drive position, while the listed PCIe 5.0 x4 connection makes host and backplane support central to the purchase. Do not select it by its 2.5-inch dimensions alone: a SATA-only bay cannot provide the required NVMe interface.
Add substantial fast-access capacity to an approved server or storage platform with suitable NVMe drive bays.
