The Polycom RealPresence Trio 8300 (2200-66800-025) is a SIP conference phone for small meeting rooms. It sits in the middle of the table and picks up voices from all sides. Poly calls it the Trio 8300 today.

One gigabit Ethernet port links it to your network. Built-in dual-band Wi-Fi lets it join a wireless network. Wi-Fi security covers WEP, WPA-Personal, WPA2-Personal and WPA2-Enterprise. Bluetooth pairs with a phone, so you can use the Trio as a speaker for mobile calls. A USB port lets it act as a speaker and microphone for a computer.
A 3.5-inch monochrome backlit screen shows calls and menus. Three lit mute buttons sit on the corners, so anyone can mute. The phone handles up to three lines and a local 3-way call.
Poly NoiseBlock mutes non-speech noise such as typing. Acoustic Clarity gives full-duplex talk with echo control. The speaker covers 220 to 14,000 Hz. Codecs include G.711, G.722, G.722.1, G.729AB, G.719, SILK, Siren 7 and 14, iLBC and Opus.
The Trio supports Poly Zero Touch Provisioning and RealPresence Resource Manager, so an admin can set up many units. It also supports 802.1X login and SRTP call encryption. The base height is adjustable, and the unit is ENERGY STAR certified. It works in rooms from 32 to 104 F.
The Trio runs on PoE alone. Poly's power kit, 2200-66840-001, is the option when your switch has no PoE. You can also add Trio Visual+ and an EagleEye Mini camera to turn it into a video system.
