The Micron MTC20F104XS1RC56BB1 is a genuine 48GB DDR5 server memory module. It runs at 5600MHz on the PC5-44800 standard. This module has an ECC Registered design with a single-rank, x4 layout. It uses a standard 288-pin form factor at 1.1V.
48GB is a capacity point unique to DDR5, made possible by new die densities not available in DDR4. DDR5 also adds on-die ECC inside each chip, working alongside the ECC from the Registered design.
