Its listed eight external SAS ports and PCIe 3.0 x8 host interface are useful starting points for an enclosure plan, but cabling, backplane connections, and host support determine whether the finished storage path works. Although the store handle calls it a RAID controller, do not assume specific hardware RAID capabilities without checking the controller documentation.
