The Lexmark MS725dvn (50G0610) is a print-only black and white laser printer for letter, legal and A4 paper. Lexmark built it to handle narrow media and vinyl labels as well as plain paper. It prints up to 55 pages a minute on letter paper (52 on A4), and the first page can be out in as little as 8 seconds.
Lexmark lists plain paper, card stock, transparencies, paper labels, polyester labels, vinyl labels, integrated labels and dual web labels. Sizes run from A6 up to legal. That mix helps offices and warehouses that print labels along with reports.

A 550-sheet tray and a 100-sheet multipurpose tray hold 650 sheets from the start. Options raise the total to 4,400 sheets. A 550-sheet bin catches the pages. Two-sided printing is built in and runs at up to 34 sides a minute on letter paper.
Replacement cartridges run up to 55,000 pages. Lexmark lists the 58D1000, 58D1H00, 58D1X00, 58D1U00 and 58D0UA0 for this printer. The imaging unit is rated at up to 150,000 pages, so it needs changing far less often.
A 1 GHz dual-core processor and 512 MB of memory run the jobs, and memory can grow to 4,608 MB. A 2.4-inch color screen shows status and settings. You get USB 2.0, Gigabit Ethernet, a parallel port and a front USB port. Wi-Fi is an option. The printer speaks PCL 5e, PCL 6, PostScript 3, PDF 1.7 and Apple AirPrint.
Lexmark rates the duty cycle at up to 300,000 pages a month and suggests 5,000 to 75,000 pages. The printer measures 17.5 x 16.85 x 20.1 inches and weighs 56 pounds.
