The Kingston KSM56R46BD4PMI-96HMI is a 96GB DDR5-5600 registered DIMM from the Server Premier line. It is dual rank with x4 chips, runs at 1.1V, and has 288 pins. Kingston lists it at CL46 with Hynix M-die chips.
Most DDR5 sizes double: 16GB, 32GB, 64GB. The 96GB size comes from a bigger chip. This module uses 24Gbit chips, where the 64GB module uses 16Gbit chips. Forty 24Gbit chips on an x80 module make 96GB with ECC.

Both are 2Rx4 DDR5-5600 modules, and Kingston lists both as Full Lock.
Kingston can lock all the main parts of a Server Premier module for consistency: the DRAM, the register chip, the power chip, and more. A locked parts list means modules bought months apart stay alike. The lighter option, DRAM Lock, fixes only the DRAM die revision.
A server that takes this module has to support DDR5 RDIMMs at 5600 MT/s. Check your server's memory guide for 96GB support. If the CPU tops out at 4800, the module runs at 4800. It can't share a server with unbuffered DIMMs. Eight modules give 768GB. Sixteen give 1.5TB.
Yes. Kingston puts a power management chip on every DDR5 module. It sets the 1.1V supply on the module itself.
No. Registered ECC modules need a server board.

Dual rank. The 2R in 2Rx4 means two ranks of x4 chips. Each rank holds twenty chips.
Kingston lists CL46. At 5600 MT/s that is about 16.4 ns to the first data, close to DDR5-4800 at CL40. The module moves 44.8 GB/s.
The chips are bigger and from a different die. The ranks, speed, and voltage are the same.
