The HPE P23863-B21 is a 16TB SAS hard drive in a Smart Carrier tray for HPE ProLiant servers. It is a full-size 3.5-inch drive that spins at 7200 RPM and links at 12Gb/s. HPE's spare number for it is P25247-001.

The numbers look alike, so mix-ups happen. Match two things: the size and the carrier.
HPE calls it "16TB SAS 12G Business Critical 7.2K LFF SC Helium 512e ISE Multi Vendor HDD". Helium is the gas inside the case. ISE stands for Instant Secure Erase. Multi Vendor means HPE may supply the drive from more than one maker, so the label can show different MB016000 model codes. The option number stays the same.
Twelve drives hold 192TB raw, and RAID 6 leaves about 160TB usable. Parts sellers list the P23863-B21 for ProLiant Gen8 through Gen10 servers. Check your own model against HPE's list.
LFF, which is 3.5-inch. SFF means 2.5-inch. Some listings mix the two up, so read the part number.
Helium is thinner than air, so the platters spin with less drag. That trims power and heat.
Eight drives hold 128TB raw. RAID 6 leaves about 96TB usable.
