The 726718-128 is a set of sixteen HPE 8GB DDR4-2133 RDIMMs that add up to 128GB. Each module matches HPE option part 726718-B21: single rank x4, CAS 15-15-15, registered. They are made for ProLiant Gen9 servers.

A Gen9 processor has four memory channels, so a two-CPU server has eight. Sixteen modules put two on every channel, so every channel carries data. Four big modules cover only half the channels.
The trade is slots. Sixteen modules take sixteen of a DL380 Gen9's 24 slots and leave eight open. Four modules take four slots and leave twenty. Pick by what you need more: bandwidth now, or room to grow.
Each module has one rank of x4 memory chips built from 4Gb parts. One rank is a light load on the memory controller. That helps a server hold its top speed when many slots are full. The modules run at 2133 MT/s, which is 17 GB/s each.
Eight more modules of the same type bring a DL380 Gen9 to 192GB. Keep the channels even as you add them.
HPE's own option number for one module is 726718-B21. The 726718-128 number names a set of sixteen of them. HPE's spare number for each module is 774170-001.
