P68075-001 is HP's spare part number for a 64GB DDR5-5600 memory module. HP builds it for ProLiant Gen11 servers. The same module ships as option kit P64707-B21 when it's ordered with a new server build. HP tracks warranty and repair stock under the spare number, and new-build orders under the option number. The memory itself doesn't change. Specs stay the same either way: PC5-44800 speed, ECC Registered signaling, CL46 latency, dual-rank x4 layout, 288 pins, and 1.1V operation.
ECC Registered design does two jobs here. ECC catches memory errors and fixes them on its own. A stray bit flip won't crash a workload or quietly corrupt data. Registered, or buffered, memory eases the load on the memory controller. That's how servers run far more DIMMs per channel than a desktop board can handle. The dual-rank x4 layout adds a finer level of built-in error correction too. It's why HP builds its server RDIMMs this way.
Gen11 ProLiant systems use this DDR5 type. They're built around 4th or 5th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors. Common models include the DL360, DL380, and ML350 Gen11. Supported speed can still depend on your exact processor and BIOS settings. Check your server's QuickSpecs or memory rules before you order. That matters most if you're mixing capacities across existing slots.
