The HP LaserJet Enterprise Flow MFP M632z (J8J72A) is a black and white machine for letter, legal and A4 paper. It prints, copies, scans and faxes. These are the questions people ask most.
It prints up to 65 pages a minute on letter paper and 61 on A4. Two-sided printing runs at up to 53 pages a minute on letter and 50 on A4. The first page can be out in as little as 5.3 seconds. A5 pages fed sideways reach 100 a minute. Copies run at the same speeds. The 150-sheet feeder can hold sheets up to legal length.
The z comes with a 100-sheet multipurpose tray, a 550-sheet tray, and a 550-sheet feeder with a 2,100-sheet high-capacity tray. That is 3,300 sheets from the start. HP says you can add one more 550-sheet feeder or an envelope feeder.
Flow models add tools that move paper into files. The 150-sheet feeder scans both sides in one pass, and built-in OCR makes searchable files. Scans can go to email, a network folder, a USB drive or SharePoint.
It uses one black cartridge. The HP 37A (CF237A) is rated at about 11,000 pages. The HP 37X (CF237X) is rated at about 25,000 pages. The HP 37Y (CF237Y) is rated at about 41,000 pages and needs changing the least.
Print quality reaches 1,200 x 1,200 dpi with FastRes 1200. The M632 line uses HP toner with JetIntelligence. The machine connects by USB or Gigabit Ethernet, and a hardware pocket holds add-on tools. HP also lists an optional wheeled stand and a 75-envelope feeder for the series.
