The HP Color LaserJet 8550DN (C7098A) is an older color laser printer for offices that print on large sheets. It takes paper from 3.9 x 7.5 inches up to 12 x 18.5 inches, and it duplexes on its own. Here is the plain truth about what it does well and where it is slow.
Black prints at 24 pages a minute, but color runs at only 6. The first page takes about 38 seconds in black and 53 in color. Resolution is 600 x 600 dpi. If you print color in volume, a newer machine will save time.
