The Grandstream GXP1620 is a two-line SIP desk phone for small businesses. It has a backlit screen and HD audio on both the handset and the speaker. It does not have PoE, so it runs on the power supply that comes with it.

All four have two lines and two SIP accounts. The GXP1620 is the one with the backlight and full HD audio, but no PoE.
The 2.95-inch graphical screen shows 132 x 48 pixels. Two line keys with two-color lights sit beside it. Three soft keys can run XML apps. Five keys handle menus and moving around. Thirteen fixed keys cover page or intercom, phonebook, message, home, hold, record, mute, headset, transfer, conference, send or redial, speaker and volume.
HD wideband audio covers the handset and the speakerphone. The full-duplex speaker uses echo cancellation. A 3-way call lets you add a third person. The phone supports G.711, G.722, G.723, G.726, G.729 A/B and iLBC.
Two switched 10/100 Ethernet ports let a computer share the wall jack. TLS and SRTP protect calls and accounts. Admins can set phones up with TR-069 or XML files.
An RJ9 jack takes a headset and supports electronic hook switch use with Plantronics headsets. The stand sets two angles, and the phone can hang on a wall.
The phone stores up to 500 contacts and 200 call history records. The phone book can load from XML or LDAP. It also handles call waiting, call park and pickup, shared line appearance and music on hold.
Grandstream calls the GXP1620 its standard phone for small businesses. With Grandstream's UCM6100 IP PBX it can set itself up with zero-config provisioning.
