The Grandstream GAC2570 is an Android conference phone for meeting rooms, huddle areas and boardrooms. It is not a 12-line phone. The 12 in its specs is the size of a local audio conference and the number of microphones.
| Item | Number |
|---|---|
| Microphones | 12 omnidirectional |
| Pickup range | 5 m |
| With two GMD1208 wireless mics | Up to 20 m (microphones sold separately) |
| Local conference | Up to 12 people, including the host |
| Speaker | 10 W, 100 to 20,000 Hz, up to 83 dBA at 1 m |
| Battery | 3,300 mAh, up to 4 hours of talk time |
A 7-inch IPS touchscreen shows 1,280 x 800 pixels. The phone runs Android 10, so users can open apps. Grandstream lists the phone as Zoom Rooms certified. It stores up to 2,000 contacts and 2,000 call log entries, and it can record calls on the phone or on a server.
One gigabit Ethernet port takes PoE+ (802.3at, Class 4). Wi-Fi 6 on both 2.4 and 5 GHz lets you place the phone without a cable. Bluetooth 5.0 pairs headsets, speakers and mobile phones. A media port handles an HDMI link, and the HDMI cable is optional.
The full-duplex speakerphone sits in an acoustic chamber for fuller sound. Echo cancellation and microphone beamforming keep talk clear. The phone supports full-band audio. The 12 microphones use Grandstream's multichannel array design.
The phone supports SIP paging, hold, and call park and pickup. Calls with several people form a meeting on their own. Because the phone has a battery and Wi-Fi, a call can carry on if you move to another room. The PoE injector in the box powers the phone from a wall outlet and the network cable.
You get the phone, an Ethernet cable, a micro-USB cable, a quick guide and a PoE injector. The HDMI cable and the GMD1208 wireless microphones are optional.
