The Avaya 9641G (Dell part A4393812) is a multi-line IP desk phone with a color touchscreen. It works with Avaya Aura and Avaya IP Office systems. Avaya aims it at staff who spend much of the day on calls. It is part of Avaya's 9600 series, and it connects by cable only.

The phone has up to five soft keys, and each key can show a label on the screen.
The color touchscreen measures about 4.1 inches. It tilts into four positions, so you can set the angle for your desk. You tap menus and apps right on the glass.
A two-port gigabit switch (10/100/1000) lets a computer share the wall jack. A USB port supports apps and accessories. Bluetooth headsets pair with the phone directly, and DECT headsets work with an adapter.
The wideband speakerphone uses G.722 for HD audio. The handset works with hearing aids and supports a TTY coupler. Each audio path, such as handset, speaker, ringer and headset, has its own volume level.
The phone takes 802.3af PoE (Class 2). An optional power adapter is sold separately. A wedge stand flips for desk or wall use, and a flip stand gives two desk angles. The wall mount kit is extra. The phone supports up to three 12-button or 24-button expansion modules.
Avaya lists Avaya Aura Communication Manager (SIP or H.323) and IP Office 8.1 or later. The phone has no Wi-Fi.
