The Cisco CP-8800-V-KEM-3PC is a key expansion module for the Cisco IP Phone 8865 with multiplatform firmware. The part number does not mean it fits the whole 8800 Series. It fits only the multiplatform 8865 video phone.

You cannot mix module types on one phone. A video module does not work on an audio phone, and an audio module does not work on a video phone.
Each module has 14 programmable buttons and two page keys, so one module gives 28 buttons across two pages. Three modules give 84. Each button has a light that shows if a line is idle, ringing or busy. Use the buttons for directory numbers, speed dials and feature keys.
Key modules help assistants and receptionists who must watch the status of many lines at once. This module has a one-column layout.
Two 3.5-inch color screens show the button labels. Each shows 480 x 272 pixels.
In the phone settings, you choose the module type. This one is CP-8800-Video. Cisco's guide calls it a dual-screen module for video phones, with 14 line keys on two pages.
The phone must run multiplatform firmware 11.2(3) or later. The module has no power supply of its own. It draws power from the phone. With one, two or three modules, the 8865 needs 802.3at PoE or the Cisco Power Cube 4.
The fast-charging USB port on the back of the phone does not work when more than one module is attached and the phone runs on 802.3at PoE.
You get the module, a desk stand and a connector with screws for attaching it to the phone.
