The Cisco 8800 Series Video Key Expansion Module (CP-8800-V-KEM) adds 28 buttons and two color screens beside a Cisco IP Phone 8865. It does not fit the whole 8800 Series. It fits only the 8865 and 8865NR video phones.

Each page holds 14 programmable buttons, and two lit page buttons flip to a second page. That gives 28 buttons in all. Every button has a multicolor light that shows if a line is idle, ringing or busy. Use the buttons for directory numbers, speed dials or feature keys. Cisco notes that it is not an operator console.
Key modules help assistants and others who must watch the status of many lines at once. The two lit page buttons sit below the screens.
Two 3.5-inch color screens show the labels. Each screen has a backlight and shows 480 x 272 pixels in 16-bit color. You can change the brightness from the 8865's settings menu.

The module has no power supply of its own. It draws power from the phone. With one, two or three modules, the 8865 needs 802.3at PoE+ or the Cisco Power Cube 4. The back USB port does not work with more than one module unless you use Cisco UPoE.
The module comes with a foot stand and the parts to attach it to the phone side by side. You can connect up to three modules to one phone.
