Cisco 50-Watt 802.3bt Multigigabit PoE Injector

The Cisco AIR-PWRINJ7 solves a common wireless deployment problem: powering high-demand access points that need more than standard PoE can deliver, in locations without a PoE-capable switch nearby. Supporting the 802.3bt standard at up to 50 watts, it's built to power Cisco's higher-end multigigabit access points without requiring a switch upgrade across an entire wiring closet.

Key Features

• Up to 50 watts of PoE output for high-demand devices
• 802.3bt standard support for modern multigigabit access points
• Standalone injector design, no PoE switch required

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a PoE switch if I use this injector?

No, the injector adds PoE power directly to the Ethernet link without requiring a PoE-capable switch.

What kind of devices need this level of power?

High-demand devices like multigigabit access points that exceed standard PoE+ power budgets.

When one access point needs more power than the rest of the network can deliver, the AIR-PWRINJ7 offers a targeted fix without touching the switch infrastructure everyone else depends on.
