Covering a large space usually means mounting four cameras, running four cables and aiming each one by hand, and the Axis P3735-PLE collapses that entire exercise into a single device. Four individually adjustable sensor heads live inside one outdoor-ready housing, each delivering HDTV 1080p video in whatever direction the scene demands, so a single mounting point can watch all four corners of a parking lot, sales floor or loading dock. Built-in infrared illumination keeps the image usable after dark, Axis Zipstream technology keeps bandwidth and storage costs sane, and the whole package is engineered for the kind of 24/7 outdoor duty that separates security hardware from webcams.
It is the natural choice for intersection-style coverage: parking entrances and exits, retail aisles meeting at a hub, warehouse intersections and building corners where one pole or ceiling point can serve four directions at once. Installers also deploy it to replace aging multi-camera clusters, cutting cable runs, switch ports and maintenance visits while actually improving per-direction image quality.
The camera is PoE-powered over a standard network drop and integrates with major video management platforms through ONVIF, including Axis' own AXIS Camera Station. It works with existing IP surveillance networks and records to any VMS or NVR that supports ONVIF streams.
Surveillance budgets go further when one device does the work of four, and this camera is the reference design for that idea. With four 1080p heads, integrated IR, Zipstream efficiency and hardened outdoor housing, the P3735-PLE gives a site complete directional coverage from a single point on the network.
